Custom Culinary Workshops (On Request)

In addition to our regular Spring and Autumn workshop cycles, the Istrian Educational Gastronomy Centre also organises special, tailor-made culinary workshops on request for groups, institutions, organisations, teams, and various interest and age groups, including children.

These workshops are designed as a complete gastronomic experience – combining learning, social interaction and hands-on cooking – with a focus on Istrian cuisine, local and seasonal ingredients, and working with experienced chefs.

The programme can be adapted to your goals, interests and age group, for example for team building and shared experiences, educational and study visits, professional groups and partners, or special occasions, guests and themed programmes.

Participants not only learn new techniques and recipes, but also gain practical and applicable culinary skills, discover the values of Istrian cuisine and local ingredients, take part in an interactive and relaxed experience in a professional kitchen, and finally enjoy the dishes they have prepared together.

By prior arrangement, the programme may also include an educational component outside the kitchen, such as a guided visit to the Boškarin farm, an introduction to the work of AZRRI, as well as educational workshops and lectures in the fields of Istrian gastronomy, autochthonous breeds or other thematic areas, in cooperation with experts.

The minimum number of participants required to organise a workshop is 7 persons. Workshops can be organised exclusively on weekdays.
