Blanka Sinčić Pulić: Art of Plating: kreativna prezentacija hrane za kuće za odmor, domaćinstva i OPG-ove

This workshop with Blanka Sinčić Pulić, Master of Agronomy, owner of Lokalitet and an expert in promoting and enhancing the value of local products, will focus on creative food arrangement and presentation, attention to detail, decoration, and storytelling.

Through hands-on activities, participants will learn how to connect local ingredients with their origins, traditions, and cultural heritage, and how to present them in a contemporary and visually appealing way. The aim is to demonstrate how simple local products can be transformed into an authentic and memorable gastronomic experience.

Special attention will be given to small changes that make a noticeable difference: the interplay of colours and textures, the arrangement of elements, and the selection of details that support the story behind each product. This workshop offers an opportunity to make your culinary offering more distinctive and communicate the value of locally sourced products more effectively to your guests.

Blanka Siničić Pulić

An agronomy graduate, owner of the renowned local product store Lokalitet, and president of the sensory analysts' association Gustus, Blanka is a leading expert in the valorization and protection of indigenous Istrian products. She is deeply committed to preserving their authenticity and quality while strengthening their market presence. At the EGCI, she has led numerous workshops focused on the sensory analysis of cured meats. These sessions covered essential topics such as the fundamentals of sensory evaluation, the theoretical foundations of cured meat production, and an in-depth exploration of Istrian prosciutto — the only Croatian prosciutto with a protected designation of origin. Blanka’s mission is to inspire participants to become ambassadors of premium Istrian products, where Istrian prosciutto, sausages, ombolo, and pancetta transcend the role of mere delicacies on a plate and become symbols of tradition, excellence, and craftsmanship.
